The nearest airport is conveniently far enough to hear those noisy airplanes. Ockendon House is located in the center of somewhere I'd rather not be. Sandy Park Rugby Stadium is 37 km away, so I hope you're really committed to watching rugby.

I just love hiking up hills and stairs, it's totally relaxing!

Perfect location uphill, close to town center, harbor, and beach. Quiet area. Personal contact with the host was a nice touch. Easy parking, always available within walking distance. Spacious, clean apartment with amazing views. Owners were friendly and helpful, even provided milk and biscuits upon arrival. Would definitely visit again.

I couldn't be happier with my stay at this super cosy hotel! Great value for money and the room seemed like a 5-star hotel, sovery comfy and tidy. The location was spot on, close to town, the harbour, and the beach. The owners, Dave and Linda, were absolute gems, making sure I arrived safely and even dropping me off at the train station when I left. Can't thank them enough for taking care of me!

There were quite a few steps and hills around the area, but honestly, my legs are better for it, so it's actually a positive! It's a small trade-off for the amazing experience of staying here.
